In the framework of the public lectures series ‘Making architecture politically’ at the Umea School of Architecture, 51N4E (Sotiria Kornaropoulou) will give a presentation on "Public and Intimate".
The lecture will be followed by a round discussion seminar with the students of Umea School of Architecture the day after.

The Big Transformation Congress
The Big Transformation Congress is taking place on Wednesday the 17th of April in Trouw, a former newspaper printing facility in the centre of Amsterdam.

Ageing Revolution
A workshop with the theme of 'ageing revolution' is jointly guided by studio Chevalier-Masson (Anne Masson, Eric Chevalier) and 51N4E (Freek Persyn, Jan Haerens) in MOME Budapest. The workshop is accompanied by an exhibition of the work of the two studios, while a public lecture will mark the launch of the event.

Brussels 2040: public presentation of the project
The strategic vision on Brussels 2040 will be presented in public by Freek Persyn in the annual colloquium of ARAU (Atelier de Recherche et d'Action Urbaines). This year, the event is focusing on the Regional Plan for Sustainable Development of the Brussels Region (PRDD).

51N4E presentation for Hong Kong delegation
Belgium will be the partner country of the upcoming edition of Business of Design Week (Hong Kong-Shenzen). Four Belgian offices present their work for the delegation from Hong Kong visiting Belgium in preparation of the 2013 edition of the event, Sotiria Kornaropoulou will represent 51N4E.

100 Lakes-Tirana, workshop
A workshop in Tirana marks the beginning of the parallel academic studios in the Catholic University of Leuven (MaUSP) and Epoka University in Tirana (Architecture faculty). The studios are focusing on the future of the metropolitan area between Tirana and Durres through an investigation on the artificial water reservoirs made under the socialist regime. The collaboration was launched by 51N4E in the summer of 2012 and the office (Sotiria Kornaropoulou, Freek Persyn)is guiding the studio in Leuven.
